General Terms and Conditions for VUM events
1) Terms of payment/participation fee
After registration, participants will receive the registration confirmation. Participants will receive an electronic invoice for the transfer of the conference fee. The fee plus statutory VAT must be credited to our account on the day of the event at the latest.
Cancellations must be received in writing (electronically) by the last working day before the start of the event. Cancellations up to the registration deadline are free of charge, for cancellations up to and including 1 working day before the event, 50% of the conference fee will be charged, in the event of no-show or cancellations on the day of the event, the full fee will be charged. A substitute participant can be provided.
3) Program change
VUM reserves the right to replace announced speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event program and the event location while maintaining the overall character of the event.
The working documents posted at our events are protected by copyright and may not be duplicated or used commercially – not even in part – without the consent of VUM. All rights reserved. Until further notice, the participants agree that photos of the respective event, in which they can be identified, may be published and used both online and in print.
As part of its business activities, VUM uses the data provided by the participants to fulfill the contract, for accounting purposes, to process payment transactions and to comply with legal regulations. It is used in accordance with the Data Protection Act (DSG 2000) as amended. The participants consent to their data being used in printed or electronic participant directories.
